The round table "Cinema Speaks in Her Voice" is a harmonious continuation of the "Terra Incognita" program. We want not only to show contemporary films made by women, but also to talk about them. The conversation will focus on how directors work with national material, myths, and legends. How they decipher the cultural code. What genres and forms they turn to, and why they often find themselves in the realm of experimentation. A separate topic will be the situation on the festival map and in the field of film distribution: which works by women, one way or another, end up in the spotlight and how they are received by audiences.
