A fire took everything from them. On a scorching summer day in the village of Vodoratsk, flames engulfed a large family home within minutes. It was home to Lyudmila Yurkina and her adopted children—a large family that includes children of different ethnic backgrounds, as well as boys with intellectual disabilities.

Having lost everything, Lyudmila refuses to give in to despair. Together with her family, she sets out to find a new home and rebuild their lives—before winter arrives.
