Last year, we shared the story of Seance Publishing, introduced the latest issues of Seance magazine and new book releases, and were delighted to see every copy of Sergey Dobrotvorsky's collection sold out.

This year, our Book Market is expanding. Joining Seance Publishing, already a favourite among our festival guests, is the independent bookstore Poryadok Slov.

Seance Publishing returns with a selection of new releases, including Seance No. 94, The Wrong Man; volumes on Paul Thomas Anderson and Leonid Gaidai from the Seance. Faces series; Seance. The Best, a five-volume collection of the magazine's finest writing; as well as exclusive merchandise—T-shirts and tote bags inspired by the two central themes of the latest issue.

The carefully curated selection from Poryadok Slov complements the festival programme, offering audiences a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural contexts behind the films. Highlights include The World Has Eyes: Dziga Vertov. Poems, Life Caught Unawares: The Making of Man with a Movie Camera, Yakut Cinema: The Path to Self-Determination, and many other titles.

Festival guests will also have a unique opportunity to purchase graphic novels by Yorgos Goussis, the Greek filmmaker and member of this year's Alania jury.
