"Do you remember your dreams? The wishes you once made? I remember mine—they are kept in an archive. The very first wish in that archive was a shooting star that fell from the sky above our village. My mother and father saw it at the same moment and, without saying a word to each other, made the same wish. Soon after, I was born. My name is Yerazik."

The Dream Knows the Way was created through a collaborative laboratory process. Its starting point was the abandoned village of Khin Hot in southern Armenia. People lived in this remarkable place for more than two thousand years, until the Soviet authorities decided to build a hydroelectric power station nearby and relocated the entire population. Today the village stands deserted, yet its ruins continue to preserve the memory of lives once lived—and of dreams that were never fulfilled.
